Governor's Mansion Punch
1 large can grapefruit juice
1 large can pineapple juice
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange jice concentrate, undiluted
6 cups cold water
2 quarts ginger ale
Freeze first 3 ingredients in cans. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour and 30 minutes, so juice will be slightly frozen.
Cut out both ends of cans, and combine juices in a large punch bowl.
Combine sugar and 1 cup water, stirring until dissolved; add to juice mixture.
Combine orange juice and 6 cups cold water, stirring well.
Pour orange juice into punch bowl; stir in ginger ale.
Serves 30.
* For a pink punch, substitute cranberry juice for grapefruit juice.
